We exist to put people in touch with God. We do this through the teaching of the whole Bible, chapter by chapter, line by line and gathering together to worship Him.

Newcomers, Guests & New Believers Meetings: We would love for you to come to our three week introduction to our church that we call Calvary Chapel 101.  It's a great way to get to know each other, plus there are awesome desserts!

"Calvary Chapel 101" is held periodically from 6:00-8:00 on three successive Sunday evenings.  Email us at  info@revelation320.org or call us at (860)848-7400 if you would like to attend one in the future and also so that we can have enough handout materials for everyone. Calvary's Story

Why are we called "Calvary Chapel?"  “Calvary” is the name of the hill on which Jesus was crucified outside of the city of Jerusalem 2,000 years ago. Calvary is the Latin word for Golgotha, the name of the hill in Hebrew, which means “the place of the skull.” It is the death of Jesus which allows us to be “made right again with God.” Yet Jesus didn't remain in the grave, but was miraculously resurrected from the dead, never to die again. It is because of His death and resurrection that we have been able to “reconnect with God.”

We were created by God to know Him, enjoy Him, and to worship Him. Yet people are separated from God, until they accept and receive the great thing Jesus did for us by dying on the cross. We’re glad to identify with His place of death - Calvary - and are thrilled to be united with Him in new life through His resurrection. Our name, Calvary, reminds us of what Jesus did for us and the lengths He went to demonstrate His love for us when we were still separated from Him.

The second word in our name “Chapel” simply states what we do. We gather around Jesus and what He did for us on Calvary. We gather because He told us to and we gather to help spread His renown and fame throughout the entire earth.

Our meetings are simply designed to allow people to connect with God and express their hearts towards Him. We spend a great deal of time regularly teaching the whole Bible line by line.
