AN ARMY OF DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS

Our church is made up of hundreds of dedicated volunteers that serve faithfully, consistently and diligently in a variety of different ministries and service projects throughout the year. Some serve weekly, some monthly and some occasionally. But it is the the core of volunteers that makes our church function week after week.  We like to think that we have the most incredible army of volunteers anywhere.

A SERVANT CHURCH STAFF

Joe Paskewich (Lead Pastor)
Joe is the founding pastor of Calvary Chapel in Southeastern Connecticut. He is a graduate of New Hampshire College and attended Calvary Chapel Bible School in Illinois. In addition to serving as pastor at Calvary Chapel, Joe frequently speaks and teaches in conferences and Bible Schools locally and internationally. Outside of church duties he serves on church and missions boards and is a chaplain with the Norwich Police Department. He has been married to his first wife Debbie since 1979 and has a son, Stefan.

Stephen Harper (Associate Pastor)
Native to the area, Stephen grew up in church. He played football in high school and college, went to film school and is a load of creative energy. Stephen serves as assisting pastor, assimilates newcomers, and directs our radio ministry. Stephen is married to JoAnn, the love of his life, and is the father of two great and creative children, Siobhan and Ethan.

Coleen DeVega (Children's Ministries)
Coleen has been a member of the church for many years and served for six years as a missionary to Spain. She is the mother of two believing sons and is a grandmother. Her sons and daughters-in-law are active in the church. She speaks fluent Spanish and makes a mean chili.

Sharon Beck (Secretary/Bookkeeper)
Sharon is the office Bookkeeper and is our longest employee with Calvary Chapel next to Pastor Joe. She has been married for 42 years and has 2 grown sons. Sharon has been a dialysis patient for 9 years. Favorite Scripture Isaiah 40:31

Jerry Ladd (Facility Maintenance)
Jerry is a stand up, faithful guy who has been a Christian for nearly 30 years. Recently retired, Jerry keeps everything clean and running. Basically there isn’t anything Jerry can’t fix. He is married to Pat and is a father and grandfather.
